Awesome Socks!

I'm pleased to present my first pair of handknit socks.  I'm sad to say that they're a tiny bit too big for me, but of course, that's not stopping me from wearing them (with a great deal of pride, thankyouverymuch!)  They took the entire school holidays to make, but it was so worth it. 

They're made out of a gorgeous merino wool that I got off of trademe.  It was a bit of a challenge (and I may or may not have accidentally used two different patterns for the heels, but Phill says that's just so I can tell the left sock from the right one - I like that theory and I'm going with it.)  I'm up for making another pair after a bit of a break... but preferably a pair that fits, or maybe I'm just being fussy.
